WHO WE ARE

Slum Ping Pong (SPP) is a non-profit organization based in Kampala, Uganda, dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and youth. Our mission is to utilize table tennis as a tool for education and social development, providing a safe environment where young people can thrive. We operate primarily in the Katwe and Nsambya slums, as well as refugee host communities, focusing on keeping children in school and off the streets. Through our initiatives, we aim to instill self-esteem, dignity, and hope for a brighter future in those we serve.

WHAT WE DO

Our Impact

At Slum Ping Pong, we believe in the transformative power of sports. Our primary program uses table tennis to engage youth in constructive activities that foster education and personal growth. We provide scholarships, mentorship, and skill development workshops that empower children to break the cycle of poverty. Additionally, we focus on building a community of long-term supporters through storytelling and regular updates, ensuring transparency and accountability in all our endeavors. Together, we can create lasting change in the lives of vulnerable children and youth in our communities.
